NBA Trade Deadline Update

Kendrick Perkins headed to Thunder

Several NBA teams took to the last minute to make trades before the 3 p.m. ET deadline Thursday.

The Boston Celtics sent center Kendrick Perkins and guard Nate Robinson to the Oklahoma City Thunder. In return, forward Jeff Green and Nedad Krstic will wear the lucky green, according to Yahoo Sports. The Celtics also moved Luke Harangody and Semih Erdan to the Cleveland Cavaliers for a second round draft pick. The Thunder made second move before the deadline which sent D.J. White and Mo Peterson to the Charlotte Bobcats for Nazr Mohammed.

The Portland Trail Blazers gave Charlotte two-first-round picks in return for Gerald Wallace.

Finally, the Houston Rockets sent Shane Battier to the Memphis Grizzlies for center Hasheem Thabeet and a first-round-draft pick. Houston also sent Aaron Brooks to the Phoenix Suns for Goran Dragic and another first-round-draft pick.
